RAMA NAMA LIKITHA JAPA!!

The Likhita-Japa - The practice of writing the Rāma Mantra over and over on paper or Hanuman Picture is called the Likhita-Japa.

The Significance of Likhita Japa:

Likhita Japa is deceptively simple, yet amazingly powerful nama. Reciting lord Rama’s name thrice is equivalent to reciting the thousand holy names of Lord Vishnu (Vishnu Sahasra Namam).

It is said that word "RAM" is more powerful than Lord himself!

It Took around 10 days to complete the Entire Likitha Japa in Devanāgarī script on Lord Hanuman Picture!

Sharing the Steps to complete Hanuman Outline with Rama Japam :

1.      You can write this in any language of your choice.I chose to write in Hindi ( Precisely called as "Devanagari language")

2. In the olden days, the finished Rama Jayam books used to be buried in the foundations of the temples while under construction. It is believed that it used to add divine energization to the Temples along with laying a strong foundation for a spiritual life of the writers. You can also add these Books while Building a small Temple at your Home. That’s How we did it.

3.      As you write this mantra – in small measures, every day, with due respect, it makes everything else of life’s needs fall in place automatically, just like a miracle.

4.     Firstly, Chose to write in a book or Hanuman Sketch. Both are Equally Commendable.

5.     If you chose to write in an Hanuman Outline, Firstly Draw Hanuman Outline ( Whichever you feel is feasible)

6.      It is said that you it’s the most feasible if you write the sections according to the Below Numbering.

7.      You can write one section on each day – So that you do not stress & Strain yourself a lot. Because this needs great Concentration and Devotion towards work.

8.      On the First day, you can Draw the Outline and Write the First Section. Then next day write on next section #2 and so on and so forth.

·       FIRST SECTION –Includes the Mukut (crown) and Parvat (Mountain)

·       SECOND SECTION - includes the arms (holding the mountain) and holding the Gada (mace) (but not the mountain and Gada themselves, just the arms). Also includes the open chest area.

·       THIRD SECTION - includes the Angavastram (Upper cloth)

·       FOURTH SECTION : includes the legs including thighs and Feet

·       FIFTH SECTION : includes the lower body cloth- the dhoti.

·       SIXTH SECTION : includes the Gada-  the weapon of Hanumanji

·       SEVENTH SECTION : includes the mighty Tail of Hanumanji and his mala (garland around his neck).

I haven’t included any Writings on the Face area as it shall disgrace the appearance. But you can chose to include your writing there as well.
